Trip Info

We delight in the participation of families and would love for your family to join us. Each of our shared mission experiences is specifically designed to meet the strategic needs of the community we help.

God has blessed His church with many people who possess varying gifts, abilities, and talents, and He is using all of us to help support the efforts of Christians and missionaries around the world. Almost all of our trips require no extraordinary skills or previous experience and are great for first-timers.

Local Operation Backyard: On specific dates throughout the year, we will be involved in these very simple, free, one-day, local mission projects where families with kids of any age can be involved. Through these local mission opportunities, families can minister together to meet the physical & spiritual needs of people right here in Knoxville. We would love for your family to join us.  Be watching our website & facebook page for the exact dates, details, & how to sign-up to participate. Contact us for further details.

Softball Prison Trips: These trips are open to any men ages 18 & older. Throughout this year we will take 3 trips & visit prisons in Florida to play softball & share the gospel. Not only do we need softball players, but also those willing to walk the prison yard building relationships & engaging inmates in spiritual conversations during the games.  Contact us for more details & to sign up to participate.

Tanzania Co-Ed Discipleship Mission Trip (CRM): We will be partnering with  Calvary Road Ministries & SHBC to take a co-ed team to Tanzania to work with pastors & church leaders. We will be using the Original & Acts Story Cloths to teach & train them to evangelize & disciple their own people.  If you are interested in this trip, contact us for more details.

Live Nativity(Market Square): We will be sharing Christ with the people of Knoxville, TN on Saturday and Sunday Dec. 7-8, as we try to remind us all that Jesus is the reason for Christmas. The nativity will portray the birth of Jesus Christ through people dressed in costume along with live animals. Families with kids of all ages are encouraged to participate. If you would like to be a part of this mission opportunity, contact us for more details.

Jesus Christ said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” Families on Mission International takes this command seriously. We are actively involved in impacting people for the sake of Jesus Christ, and you can be a part of this exciting ministry.

If you are a pastor, find out more about how your church can be involved.
